Requirements

  • At least 2 years of industry experience in UI/UX design or product design roles, preferably in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, UX/UI Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proven experience designing for web and mobile platforms across various domains (e.g., consumer apps, enterprise software).
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (including Variables, Components, and AI features), Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, user-centric methodologies, design systems, and prototyping techniques.
  • Experience with LLM-powered tools for design prototyping and AI-assisted workflows (e.g., Figma AI, Midjourney for concepts).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • High attention to detail, with a portfolio demonstrating pixel-perfect designs and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and iterating based on data-driven insights.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates your design skills, process, achievements, and ability to solve complex problems in web and mobile contexts.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.

About the Role

  • Conduct initial product analysis, including user research, competitor benchmarking, and requirement gathering to inform design strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive user experiences.
  • Design and develop user-centric interfaces for web and mobile applications that align with customer needs, business goals, and accessibility standards.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
  • Prototype designs with LLM-powered tools (e.g., AI-assisted prototyping in Figma AI or similar) to rapidly iterate and validate concepts.
  • Build and maintain design systems, including Figma Variables, Components, and libraries to ensure consistency across products.
  • Incorporate MCP (Material Component Palette) principles or equivalent frameworks for responsive and adaptive UI elements.
  • Optimize designs for different domains, such as e-commerce, SaaS, fintech, or health tech, with a focus on web and mobile platforms.
  • Perform usability testing, A/B testing, and iterate based on user feedback and analytics data.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Contribute to the design team’s knowledge and development by sharing new ideas, techniques, and conducting internal workshops.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, prototypes, and design documentation to demonstrate concepts to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure attention to detail in all design deliverables, including pixel-perfect visuals, typography, color schemes, and interaction patterns.
  • Facilitate effective communication across teams, including articulating design rationale and collaborating on agile sprints.
  • Mentor junior designers or interns, providing guidance on design processes and tools.
  • Integrate accessibility features (e.g., WCAG compliance) and inclusive design practices into all projects.
  • Analyze user data and metrics to refine designs and improve user engagement.
  • Explore and implement motion design, animations, and micro-interactions to enhance user interfaces.
